America Med Connect FAQ
Clear answers about AMC’s medical-tourism coordination, provider process, travel support, financing resources, privacy, and next steps.
How do I get started as a client?
Start with the Initial Client Inquiry. AMC reviews your general care needs and preferred communication method before moving you into the private coordination process. Please do not send medical records through the initial public inquiry unless AMC or a provider specifically instructs you to use an approved method.
Is America Med Connect a healthcare provider?
No. AMC is a non-clinical medical-tourism and travel-coordination company. AMC does not diagnose conditions, determine medical candidacy, prescribe treatment, or make clinical decisions. Those decisions belong to licensed healthcare professionals and the client.
How does AMC help me find a provider?
AMC evaluates and works with qualified physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. After your initial consultation and case review, AMC may coordinate introductions to appropriate providers based on your requested specialty, location, communication needs, logistics, and other relevant factors. The final provider and treatment decision remains yours.
Are provider identities posted publicly?
AMC does not rely on a public provider directory for client selection. Provider information is coordinated privately as part of the client process so the information shared is relevant to the specific case and stage of review.
When are medical records requested?
Medical records are requested only when needed for provider evaluation or treatment planning. Whenever practical, AMC guides and facilitates transfer directly between the client, the client’s existing healthcare provider, and the receiving healthcare provider rather than acting as the permanent custodian of medical records.
Does AMC guarantee treatment results, acceptance, or savings?
No. AMC does not guarantee provider acceptance, medical candidacy, treatment outcomes, recovery time, absence of complications, final provider charges, cost savings, financing approval, insurance reimbursement, or travel availability.
How does travel coordination work?
Travel planning is organized around the treating provider’s recommended treatment and recovery schedule. AMC can help clients identify flight, lodging, local transportation, companion, mobility, and itinerary needs and may connect clients with qualified travel professionals when booking assistance is appropriate. Third-party travel providers remain responsible for their own bookings, terms, pricing, and services.
Does AMC provide travel insurance?
No. AMC does not provide insurance coverage or guarantee coverage. AMC may provide general travel-protection guidance and connect clients with qualified professionals or resources to explore available options.
Are financing options available?
AMC may provide access to financing resources or financing partners. Financing is subject to the lender’s or financing provider’s eligibility requirements, disclosures, rates, terms, and approval process. AMC does not guarantee approval or specific financing terms.
How does AMC protect personal information?
AMC uses reasonable privacy and security practices for non-clinical coordination, limits sensitive information to what is reasonably necessary for the task, and uses approved communication or transfer methods when sensitive information must be shared. Different healthcare providers and vendors may be subject to different privacy laws and policies.
How can a healthcare provider join AMC?
Healthcare providers begin with the Provider Inquiry. AMC conducts an initial review before requesting credentialing documents. Providers who advance are asked to complete credential verification, an interview, agreement and onboarding requirements before they are approved for referrals. The public inquiry form is not the place to send sensitive credential documents unless AMC specifically requests them through an approved process.
